Exclusive Online Group Classes with Cheshire’s very own chef from MasterChef UK
I began to cook seriously about 16 years ago watching Saturday kitchen and MasterChef trying to recreate dishes my wife Nancy and I had seen.
We are lucky enough to have dined in some amazing restaurants around the UK and Europe so tried to copy things we have had
Moment of Inspiration: I had a meal at Riverside in Helford cooked by George Perry-smith which was my epiphany when I realised how good food could be.
Practice makes perfect and after seeing the early rounds of MasterChef and feeling I could do at least as well, Nancy my wife sent the entry form to MasterChef and after several interviews and an audition I was lucky to compete in the 2018 series. I cook predominately French modern European food which is my passion and I love fish. 56 started the programme and there were 9 left when I was eliminated at the end of knock out week.
I have cooked with several of the competitors who are now good friends in Alderley Edge and Stoke and also been a private chef in a home with other bookings. I aim to teach dishes that were successful on MasterChef and other dishes that go down well at our dinner parties and with family members. Delicious achievable plates of food with planning tips and lots of behind-the-scenes insight into MasterChef.
